Daniel Evans, P.E., CPD, GPD

President

Dan Evans joined HEI Engineering Group, Inc. in March of 2006 and is the President of the firm. His design experience in Plumbing Design, Fire Protection Design and HVAC Design dates back to 1982. Dan has earned and maintains the qualifications to be a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Arizona, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Vermont, Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) and a certified Green Plumbing Designer (GPD) through the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. He is an active board member with the Cleveland Chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and a member of the Akron / Canton ASHRAE.

Dan is a Graduate of Stark State College (1982 AAB) and Cleveland State University’s Concentrated Programs of HVAC (1990) and Plumbing Piping Design (1991). In addition, Dan is proficient in computer technology and custom AutoCAD applications. Dan is also our in-house Web Developer and newsletter editor. Dan has been a volunteer with the Akron / Canton Extension of the Cleveland Chapter of the USGBC.
